JR Art

The photographer that i have selected chose to remain anonymous. He goes by JR and he has the biggest art gallery in the world. He started off taking pictures after he found a camera in the Paris subway. He goes around Paris and he posts up big portraits and stuff, its considered illegal to do that kind of stuff but since they dont know who he is he cant be arrested and i think thats prettyy cool. The type of art that he creates is known as "pervasive art", when i found out what he did i thought it was just reallyy cool because he goes out into buildings in the slums around paris, to walls in the Middle East, to bridges in Africa. Instead of just creating the art there by himself he gets the people from that area and involves them in his art, he could get some local ladies and photograph them and put up huge pictures of them in that area or take a couple kids and have them help him paint on surfaces, i think its awesome because he brings out the art in those areas and actually makes the art reflect those areas because it was made by the locals there.
